ART OF THE WEEK
Last week, I showed a carved wooden eagle that I bought years ago. On that very same day, I also bought a carved wooded owl that stayed on my front porch until last year. Insects and woodpeckers have taken their toll on the owl, which has now been retired to the back yard.
For holidays, the owl always got into costume. Here he is for Halloween.
And here he is for St. Patrick’s Day

Heehee, when I picked up a stud finder for the first time, I said, “I don’t need this. I already found my stud.” . . . crickets . . . well, it made the hubster laugh.

No polls this week? Rats… (or did my computer just go haywire— oh sure blame it on the computer Beck! 😂) physical traits— that one got me laughing out loud
Learning traits— that one got me crying. I’ve got three learning how to be a person by watching me… scary. Hopefully, I’m doing something right!
Coin shortage 🤔 what will they come up with next?

Thank you Beck for commenting and I think you are a good example to the three watching you. As for the polls, there were seven of them in this week’s post, so maybe you may want to check again.

I checked again and still am not seeing it… I even tried using a different computer. Arg.

That is a mystery. I see I have already had 21 voters, so your problem I think may be unique.

I got it figured out. Got to vote and all is right in the world again! 😉 😂

Glad to hear that Rebecca, as I had more polls than usual this week. I always enjoy seeing the results.

Always interesting. Coins? Yes, I have to purposely pick them up at the bank to have a few in my pocket for the homeless bagging in my neighbourhood. It must be even more difficult for them…..

The coin shortage is one of the more unexpected things to come out of the virus!
Love your carved owl; I have a friend who makes wood carvings and it is special to watch a stump turn into something.

Thank you Jaya for commenting. The owl was done by a fellow from Europe who used to carve church altars.
