Extraordinary Person of the Week

Brigitte Bardot

Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot (28 September 1934 – 28 December 2025), often referred to by her initials B.B., was a French actress, singer, model, and animal rights activist.

She became one of the best-known symbols of the sexual revolution and gained international fame. Although she withdrew from the entertainment industry in 1973, she remained a major pop culture icon.

 She appeared in 47 films, performed in several musicals, and recorded more than 60 songs. She was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1985.

  1. You are SO right. Our bodies last a long time, but we often treat our cars, homes, and lawn better.

    I never thought it was my teacher’s job to teach me. I always thought it was my job to learn. I wonder if that was just the era I was brought up in or if my parents instilled that in me. My parents are both gone now, so I can’t ask them.😕

    • I just has to look around to know Americans are in sad physical shape and so many would rather take a pill or a shot than change their lifestyle. As for the times, they definitely have changed, some for the better and some for the worse. As always, thank you Priscilla for commenting.
