Book of the Week

Want to know what it is all about? This book will not provide the answer, but may help you figure it out for yourself.

What’s It All About?

By Julian Baggini

Illustrating his argument with the thoughts of many of the great philosophers and examples drawn from everyday life, Baggini convincingly shows that the search for meaning is personal and within the power of each of us to find. (Source: Back cover of the book)

Music of the Week

How do you like “Walk My Walk” by  Breaking Rust?

Breaking Rust, a new artist on the scene, is topping charts … but he’s not a real person. He’s a computer-generated outlaw blues-country singer.

“Walk My Walk,” a song from Breaking Rust’s October EP “Resilient,” is the No. 1 song on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales Chart, a list of the most-downloaded tracks in the U.S.

Rust has a husky, soulful voice. AI images depict him as a manly cowboy-type with a chiseled jawline and stubble. He wears a dark hat with a bandana tied around his neck.

“Walk My Walk” has more than 3 million streams on Spotify, and Breaking Rust sports more than 2.2 million monthly listeners. His other tracks, “Livin’ On Borrowed Time” and “Whiskey Don’t Talk Back” are also top streamers. (Source : The Tennesseean)
