Regardless of what your positions and beliefs are, you will likely find some of the author’s assessments and predictions disturbing.

I enjoyed reading the early part of the book about pre-history, but as time went on the author and I had to part ways.

Still, the book has many important things to say, that a well informed person should be aware of, even if they disagree with the author.
