WEEK 8: ACTION–TAKE SOME MEANINGFUL ACTION DAILY TO MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

“I Have a Dream” is a public speech delivered by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. on August 28, 1963, in which he calls for an end to racism in the United States. Delivered to over 250,000 civil rights supporters from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington, the speech was a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known as the general who defeated the Gauls and doubled the size of Rome’s territories. But, as Philip Freeman describes in this fascinating new biography, Caesar was also a brilliant orator, an accomplished writer, a skilled politician, and much more.

MOVIE OF THE WEEK

Can't Hardly Wait

This film is a bit old, 1998, but if you like romantic comedies, you might enjoy this film about a geeky high school kid trying to find the courage to act on his feelings for the prom queen.  Perhaps, it will inspire you to act on your feelings to make your dream come true.
