CURRENT EVENTS (RECIENTES ACONTECIMIENTOS)
I saw another play yesterday.
Into the Woods
January 19-21, 25-28, February 1-4, 9-11, 2018
Stagecrafters Baldwin Theater, Royal Oak, MI. USA
What happens when your favorite fairy tales get mixed up? When Little Red Riding Hood befriends Jack and the Beanstalk? When Cinderella and Rapunzel realize that charming is not nearly enough? When the wicked witch may be the smartest and fairest of them all? Find out in Stagecrafters’ production of Into the Woods, a show that transcends time and space with universal truths about family, love and friendship. And be careful what you wish for…
I missed the film that came out in 2014, so I think I will check it out now that I’ve seen a live performance of this musical.

BOOK OF THE WEEK (LIBRO DE LA SEMANA)
This is an easy to read book that I have read and reviewed many times since I first read it in 1999.
Evolve Yourself
by Rich Rahn
Evolve yourself is an excellent introduction to the concept of Conscious Personal Evolution. It discusses how and why our perspective on everything is changing the universe, the nature of reality, the evolution of the human consciousness, and the relationship between science and religion. This changing perspective is what the experts are calling our conscious evolution. In Evolve yourself, author Rich Rahn explores how this new perspective impacts us each personally and what we need to know in order to evolve emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Evolve yourself is a simple, easy and accessible guide that gets to the heart of the human experience. We don’t want to just have more, we want to be more. Evolve yourself shows us how. Art Garfunkel was born on November 5, 1941, in Forest Hills, New York. He met fellow musician Paul Simon while in school and went on to form a band called Tom and Jerry. Though the duo didn’t find much success with the Tom and Jerry moniker, they began to gain a following after changing their name to Simon & Garfunkel and releasing songs that spoke to the generation of the 1960s and ’70s, such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “The Sound of Silence.” Garfunkel is a singer, an arranger, an actor, and a poet.

What better way than to hold the award than to practice and than practice a little more. Ha The plays at the Baldwin Theater would be something I would like to attend.
