Death on the Nile
Although I have watched the two earlier versions of Death on the Nile (Post 02/27/22), I did not want to watch the current version until I finished reading this book.
MUSIC OF THE WEEK
You may have thought Brigitte Bardot was just a film star, after all she was in 47 films during 1952 to 1973. However, you may not know that she recorded more than 60 songs.

Happy Sunday, Bill! I always love what I learn reading your posts. Today’s, including Ukraine and their President, is wonderful and true. I love the art work! That child is bigger than life carrying the flag. I very much appreciated the Einstein story too. It’s true people will emphasize the mistake much more than what was done great and correct. I notice all the great things! And I will continue to do so! Take care my friend!

A superb post, Wm. Death on the Nile is one of my favourite Agatha Christie stories and one of my favourite all time books. I have a copy of nearly everything she wrote. I am looking forward to the new movie. Kenneth Brannagh has brought a whole new flavour to Hercule P.
The more you read about Einstein, the more you wonder what have we been doing since his passing?
Everyone should have Neville Chamberlain’s lesson of history seared into their brain. As for the character traits, a masterful saying!
Without a doubt, I have to agree with your summation re President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have read most all of Agatha Christie’s stories and I believe I have seen every one (I’m going to do another search this coming week)of here stories made into film, except for the new Kenneth Branagh film. I wish I had more faith in the American educational system, but I would be surprised if many have ever heard of Neville Chamberlain. Einstein was about a lot more than physics. President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people are showing us away. Again, thank you so much for your excellent commentary.

Obviously there are some people and leaders who haven’t learned from the days of Hitler.
May Ukraine beat Putin but I’m afraid for them.

It is like we are back in the 1940s, only this time it is Putin and not Hitler. But, I feel like the USA and NATO aren’t doing enough. Appeasement never has worked. Thank you for commenting Crystal.
