BOOK OF THE WEEK

Living Your Yoga

by Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., P.T.

This book is definitely more, than just the practice of yoga, it contains a lot of insights to a satisfactory everyday life.

Using the time-honored wisdom of the Yoga Sutra and the Bhagavad Gita to steer the course, she serves up off-the-mat practices to guide you in deepening your relationships with yourself, your family and friends, and the world around you. (Source: Back cover)

MOVIE OF THE WEEK

I made this short film (Five minutes) back in 2010. It is a “tongue-in-cheek” view of how people perceive the world around them.  There are better films out there, but I made this one with my friends and so I love the film even with all it’s flaws.

  1. Bill, I’m so happy to “see” you today! The short film says it all, “You only hear what you want to hear!” As much as I love Phoenix, Memphis is great too, lol 😂. I always enjoy, and learn, from the information you give! It’s fun, interesting, and insightful. I hope you’re well my friend. Karla ☺️

    • I suspected many didn’t know about the Battle of the Overpass. I’m probably more aware of it, being that I’m from Detroit and I spent nine years working in the factory. At one time, I thought I would never get out. Regarding Keith Richards and Lincoln, I wonder if people were always saying to Lincoln that he looked a lot like Keith Richards.

    • I thought “Captain’s Log” was so clever. Next summer I am going to make one to hang from the backyard trees. It will have to wait until next summer as I need to start closing up the yard and preparing for winter.
