BOOK OF THE WEEK
I think you will find this book very interesting. You will learn something about one of the great comedians, the interesting people he associated with and there is a lot of Rodney Dangerfield humor spread throughout the book.
If you aren’t sure what Rodney Dangerfield humor is like, here is an example:
I told my landlord I wanted to live in a more expensive appartment.
He raised my rent.
It’s Not Easy Bein’ Me

MOVIE OF THE WEEK
This is a rather unusual film, but I suggest you give it a chance.

If you lived through this period, and are still around, you’ve had an interesting life and a long one.

“One day death went to visit a man and said:
“Today will be your last day of living.”
“But I am not ready.” The man replied.
The death said: “Sorry to say that your name was at the top of my today’s list.”
The man calmly rejoined: “Oh, ok. No problem. Let’s have a coffee together, before my death.”
“No harm in that.” The Death responded.
The man secretly put some sleeping pills in Death’s coffee
and handed her the cup.
The Death finished the coffee and went to deep sleep.
The man took the Death’s list and erased his name from the top part of the inventory and put it at the bottom.
The death woke up and said: “You were very kind to me today. To pay my appreciation to you I will start my duty from the bottom of the list.”
Some things in life are impossible to change, no matter how hard you try to transform them.

Bill, the death story~yikes! I had never heard of that movie! Rodney Dangerfield definitely was funny~I remember movies and watching him on comedy specials. No respect! Lol! “We didn’t start the fire” by Billy Joel~my favorite here. It’s as true today as it was when he wrote it. WE didn’t start it, yet, here we are picking up the pieces and trying to survive around it all! The messes of humanity! Here to wild turkeys, humor, and a life well lived! It’s a busy time for me, Bill. I’m happy to be here and always appreciate your nuggets of wisdom! Take care, dear friend!

Thank you very much for looking at my post and commenting. My favorite Rodney Dangerfield movie is “Back to School>” Billy Joel’s song is a history lesson for sure. As for wild turkeys, I was on a trail in the Smoky Mountains some time ago and came across some. All I could think of is that I hope those wild turkeys don’t know about our Thanksgiving Tradition, since the trail was rather isolated.
