Happy Upcoming Fourth of July

Book of the Week

George Washington’s

Rules of Civility & Decent Behavior

After reading this little book, when you  listen to the discourse in this country; you will immediately realize how far we have fallen from Washington’s day in being civil to one another.

Stand up against hateful speech.

Movie of the Week

For some of you, this film will bring back memories and others of you may find the film irrelevant.   It takes place in a time that no longer exists.  Some will find that sad; but others will find the door to opportunity has never been opened wider.

    • Star Trek always worked in a message, it wasn’t just entertainment. Thank you for commenting Priscilla and happy Fourth of July to you folks.

  1. My favorite this time: Man on death bed deeply regrets not arguing more on Facebook. LOL
And happy 4th to you too. It was so much fun as a kid with the sparklers and other things that came in the box my mother procured from somewhere–who knows! I wonder if they even sell those boxes anymore… I think there were firecrackers in there too…

    • Thank you for commenting. Glad to hear you enjoyed the regrets of the fellow on his death bed, goes along with the fellow who wished he had spent more time at work.
