Meadow Brook Hall Christmas Walk
I’ve been going to the Meadow Brook Hall (Located in Rochester, MI) since 1980 and even volunteered a few years for the Christmas Walk. It is now known as the Holiday Walk.
Regardless of what it is called, it is always a treat to see the Hall decorated for Christmas.
This year was no exception
And in prior years, when Father Billino flew in from the Vatican,
we always took him to see Meadow Brook Hall.

BOOK OF THE WEEK
A great way to start off 2023 is to start clearing away your physical and mental clutter. This book offers some good ideas to do that.

If you have had your fill of Christmas films or just want something different, you may want to try this spinoff from The Addams Family TV series. I thoroughly enjoyed this eight episode series.

ART OF THE WEEK
Importance of the mind when it comes to
I thought the following picture perfectly illustrates the importance of the mind, when it comes to heavy lifting.
Or as Henry Ford would say, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you are going to be right.”
EXTRAORDINARY PERSON OF THE WEEK
Five years ago, did you dream about where you would be today?
Did you write down those dreams?
Time to start thinking about your New Year’s Resolutions.
JOKE OF THE WEEK
My fifth and final contest this year, went well.
In addition to placing in the top three for each of the following: Bench Press, Deadlift, and Push Pull (Just body weight and how much you pickup), I received the best deadlifter award (age was factored into the calculation).
This was my final deadlift.
A big THANK YOU to Aaron, who gave me my bench liftoffs and took the above video.

Christmas Luncheon at St. John Armenian Church
The Christmas Season is a great time to get together with family and friends. I was fortunate to be able to do both at a single event, since the majority of BCBSM employees always considered themselves not just co-workers, or even friends; much more like family.
I have always felt a little sorry for folks who felt their real life begins when they leave work.
