BOOK OF THE WEEK

MOVIE OF THE WEEK

I feel this documentary did not capture the generosity of Elvis nor his physical training in his prime years. But then, I’m always disappointed in every Elvis documentary, but I watch them all.

MUSIC OF THE WEEK

Last week’s music was from a wild Siberian group (Otyken). This week is also something a bit out of my ordinary music videos.

    • I was surprised at how many songs Otyken had out there. I enjoyed them a bit more with the subtitles on, so that I knew what was being sung. I understand that photo of Nixon and Elvis is in the Nixon Presidential Library. As always, thank you Priscilla for commenting.

    • Yes, Ghandi relied on Facebook to carry his message. But, I recall Abe Lincoln saying, “You can’t believe everything you read on Facebook.” I believe Thomas Jefferson may have said the same thing.

  1. Haha. For sure! Lincoln was SO smart to realize that. And they were all the first original influencers.
Except, of course, for more important things. 🙂
