Labrador weekend, LOL! This week I watched a Bob Hope and Phyllis Diller movie called Eight on the Lam. It’s slapstick and physical humor, very lighthearted. I laughed a lot, even when it hurt my incisions from my recent surgery.😂
Priscilla, forgive me. I didn’t realize you recently had surgery. I do hope you are doing well.
Well, if I didn’t say, then how were you to know? (I really can’t remember whom I’ve told and haven’t told.) It was no big deal, just a laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. It went quickly and smoothly, but I’m still sore around the incision points.
Priscilla, I’m glad to hear the operation went quickly and smoothly. Hopefully, the soreness will soon go away.

I am ok about no white flour as not been having it for years and any sugars are to be had usually in my Nairns gluten free chocolate chip cookies & maybe an odd thing along the way.
My late Irish uncle living in rural Co. Donegal Ireland with his own bog for the turf fire, cows got milk, hens for eggs etc always said ‘anything you liked to eat never did you any harm’. I suppose processed foods in his earlier years were not an option.
Then again I could be talking a load of rubbish.
I have skimmed through the book and may do abit of jumping about which hopefully I will also be doing soon nine months post hip op (good name for a dance?)💃

Margaret I’m not sure about how well some of those films stood the test of time. I have thought about updating the book and including what I can recall of my Uncle Tony’s perspective. But then, I have a couple of other projects that I need to finish.
