Death Smiles

More often than not, when you return the smile,

Death says, “No hurry, we can do this a bit later.”

BOOK OF THE WEEK

I wrote a self-help book, I’m Tired of Being Ordinary, Are You?, which I think contains a lot of solid advice, with some humor tossed in.

However, it didn’t come close to this book.

  1. So much eye candy and brain food in your blogs. And I had no idea you were buds with Elvis! Also, who is Kurt Halsey, and why DOESN’T he have a showing? Those are wonderful pieces. I wish I did know someone.

    • I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the eye candy and brain food. My Uncle used to run the shows at the Memphis Fairgrounds and actually knew Elvis. As for Kurt Halsey Fred Frederiksen, he was become a name in the art world. He disappeared from the scene I think around 2010 or 2012. I met him once and I used to correspond with him via email. I even bought one of my painting directly from his. This week I acquired my fourth original of his.

  2. That is so cool that you had at least an acquaintance with him! I wonder why he disappeared from the art world. I hope it wasn’t from negative experiences but just that he’d accomplished what he felt he needed to…..
